Commercial and domestic groundworks, tarmac surfacing, hard standings and drainage across Truro and the parishes around it. Truro is the commercial end of our patch, where the surface has to carry vehicles and the programme has to fit around a business that is still trading. We work to drawings, to a sequence and to agreed dates.
Expert Groundworks and Surfacing Across Truro and the Surrounding Parishes
Truro is the commercial end of our patch. It is a working city of offices, yards, forecourts, care sites and hospitality premises, with a constant flow of vehicles across surfaces built for a fraction of the traffic they now carry. That does not change the trade, it changes the specification. A car park or an access road is a load-bearing structure, and the depth of the build-up plus the fall put on the water decide whether it lasts.
It is also the furthest of our regular towns from Porthleven, out on the A394 and north through Penryn on the A39, which affects how we plan the work rather than whether we come. Jobs here are booked as a proper run, with the machinery and the material brought up once.
Around the city the picture changes again. Threemilestone and Shortlanesend carry newer housing on generous plots, where hard standing has usually been added a piece at a time and now drains into itself. Playing Place and the parishes running down towards the creeks are older and more mixed, with drainage that was never designed for the amount of surfacing since laid around the buildings.

Would definitely recommend. Our driveway was a mismatch of 3 different sections of gravel, some old concrete and a step. In two days he has completely overhauled it and it looks amazing. Very fast worker, polite and professional and reasonably priced as well. You won’t be disappointed by Michael’s team at all!
